Using just paint and wallpaper, transform boring shelves into something even your teen will love.
You will need:
Step one. Paint your shelves in your chosen colour. We used Resene Solid Gold, with an undercoat of Resene Apache. Leave to dry.
Step two. Measure out the back sections of the shelves and cut the Resene wallpaper to fit.
Step three. Apply the Resene wallpaper with the glue and leave to dry.
Step four. Introduce the shelves to your teenager’s room and cross your fingers that it helps to keeps things off the floor and nicely organised.
Top tip: Even many tech savvy teens still like to doodle. Enable your teen to doodle on the sides of their bookshelf without wrecking it, using Resene Write-on Wall Paint to create a coloured whiteboard. Simply wipe off as needed and they can start all over again. Also handy for younger children as you can use it to name the shelf to remind them what goes where.
