Win $5000 for home décor, thanks to Parnell and Resene

Your favourite competition is back, and you could win a $4,000 Décor voucher thanks to the Parnell Business Association to spend in one of the eligible participating décor outlets in Parnell. Plus, you can also win a ‘Resene room makeover’ along with a free Resene colour consultation valued at $1000.

Parnell is the space to be for all things décor and interior related. The multitude of stores make Parnell the ultimate destination when looking for modern, contemporary and stylish products for your interior, and when we’re speaking to ‘interior’ what’s on the walls, counts.

All you must do to enter and be in with the chance to WIN is:

• Click on the Resene colour theme you love the most
• Select your favourite Parnell décor item within that theme
• Enter the competition by filling out the entry form.

So, what are the themes?

This year there are five fabulous themes you can choose from: Art Deco, Hollywood Glam, Modern Organic, Industrial and Maximalism.

Each week we’ll take a look at a different theme, and this week we’re starting with Art Deco!

Art Deco

Art Deco is all about the rich use of colours, bold geometric patterns and decadent detail work. This is reflected with Resene Wallpaper Collection M42119 from the Resene Elegance Wallpaper Collection. Pairing the deep colour of Resene Celtic with Resene Haystack creates drama, highlighting the detailed work with the metallic of Resene Goldmine. Having these colours repeated into the furniture pieces brings in glamour and luxury with symmetrical designs and exuberant shapes.

The Corso Interiors House Doctor Jhansi Tray is a wonderful example of this, as it’s perfect for creating a unique décor display. Consider the Cuchi Oak Stairs Sideboard - a truly dynamic design. Saddle up for the ride with the Dawson & Co Saddle Chair by Timothy Oulton - a sleek and surprising shape that adds glamour and exuberance to any room. The Refined Living Armando Plexi Lamp offers modern lighting with an art deco twist. Still on lighting that wows, the Trenzseater Bomma Flare Chandelier pays homage to traditional glassmaking techniques like those you’d find in Venice. Speaking of Venice, the Vidaspace Opus Natural tile featured was inspired by mosaics in Venice during ancient times.
