World of WearableArt: A world like no other

The iconic World of WearableArt sign, decked out in Resene Pukeko, has returned to Wellington’s waterfront! Featuring the stunning World of WearableArt Show: DREAM AWAKE design, it's the perfect spot to snap a pre-show picture and soak in the gorgeous views.

From today until 13 October 2024, WOW showcases works of wearable art created by designers from across the globe. Each garment seen on stage is a finalist in the internationally renowned wearable art competition. WOW offers an opportunity to express innovation, originality and to push the boundaries of creativity on a world stage.

The WOW Show itself is a world-class theatrical extravaganza seen by an audience of over 60,000 annually. This exhilarating performance, described as Broadway meets Cirque Du Soleil, sees the stage come alive with incredible works of wearable art, dancers, aerialists, music, lights and AV.
